Post Malone shares “I Like You (A Happier Song)” video with Doja Cat.
Post Malone continues the promo run for his latest album as he now releases the music video for his song titled “I Like You (A Happier Song)”. The Louis Bell & Jasper Harris produced track features assistance from Doja Cat. “The most incredible and beautiful and most talented and she’s so incredible and I’m so blessed and honored to have worked with her,” said Malone about Doja Cat.
“Now that I’m famous, I got hoes all around me / But I need a good girl, I need someone to ground me / So, please bе true, don’t f**k around with me / I need someonе to share this heart with me,” he raps.
The track is off Malone’s latest album “Twelve Carat Toothache“, which is his first album in three years and a follow-up to 2019’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding”. The project which debuted at #2 on Billboard 200, additionally featured The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, Gunna and more.
Beginning with Malone painting a picture of a woman, the clip finally cuts to a topless Doja sprinting across a flowery, overgrown field after she vanishes in a cloud of dust. Doja poses for Posty while being covered in some well-placed flowers. In other scenes, the two sing the song together and grin and laugh, which is a perfect match for the upbeat and carefree song.
