Joyner Lucas drops the video for “Your Heart” with J. Cole.
Last night, Joyner Lucas teamed up with none other than J. Cole for a new collaboration called “Your Heart“. Now Joyner Lucas has released the accompanying music video, which is based around a relationship. J. Cole also makes an appearance, in which he rocks a t-shirt with a Tupac picture.
Joyner and Jermaine get candid about a painful breakup on the heartache anthem. “I took your heart and then I tore that sh*t apart, huh / I fu**ed you over, did you dirty, did you wrong, huh, ” Joyner raps, while Cole admits to his flaws as well.
The new track follows up Joyner’s previous offering “Dreams Unfold” with Lil Tjay which dropped last month. J. Cole recently dropped a new song “Heaven’s EP” which was over Drake’s “Pipe Down” instrumental.
Late last week, Lucas criticised Karen Civil on Twitter and reiterated his allegations that the media marketing expert had stolen $60,000 from him at the beginning of their relationship. The rapper said that after paying Civil to assist him with marketing and promotion, she ghosted him. “I was desperate for help and you knew that. After you was paid you went ghost and didn’t expect me to pop. Here I am,” he wrote on Twitter. “After you got the money paid up front, you stopped answering my calls & every time I hit you, you answered the phone with a attitude like I was messing up your day.”
