Hi-Rez drops a new song “Overdrive”.
After teasing it earlier this week, Hi-Rez has dropped his brand new single called “Overdrive“. The star-studded track features assistance from some of the speedsters of the rap game. The song features verses from Tech N9ne, Joell Ortiz, Twista, Bizzy Bone, A-F-R-O and KRSNA. The track is produced by Ryan Summer, and it comes along with an accompanying music video, which is directed by Rachel Katz and Nathan Sheridan.
“This song took me almost 6 months to coordinate and make. I grew up listening to Twista, tech, bizzy, and Joell so It’s an honor to have them on this record. Then I contacted my homies AFRO and KRSNA to bring that fire for the new school,” states Hi-Rez.
The music video shows all the MCs spitting crazy verses from their studios. This is the third collaboration between Hi-Rez and the Indian rapper KRSNA, as they previously did “Crossroads” featuring Royce da 5’9″, and “Playground” featuring KXNG Crooked.
