Ari Lennox & J. Cole drops ‘Shea Butter Baby’ video.
Dreamville Signee Ari Lennox teams up with her label boss J. Cole for the official video for their song called ‘Shea Butter Baby‘. The track appeared on the ‘Creed II: The Album‘.
The rapper and vocalist are positioned against a neon background that is coloured in warm, sensuous tones of orange and brown in the seductive visuals, which were directed by Bennett Johnson. Before Cole joins the scene and contributes his stanza, Lennox seduces her suitor in a smoke-filled and foggy setting.
The R&B singer will shortly release her debut album, also named Shea Butter Baby. Cole’s upcoming film, Revenge of the Dreamers III, is also anticipated to include her.
