2 Chainz drops the video for ‘Rule The World’ featuring Ariana Grande.
After the video for ‘Money In The Way‘ earlier this month, 2 Chainz continues releasing new visual as he teams up with Ariana Grande for the video of their collaboration ‘Rule The World‘. The track appeared on 2 Chainz latest ‘Rap or Go To The League‘ album.
On March 20, 2019, during Grande’s Sweetener World Tour in Boston, MA, 2 Chainz and Grande performed “Rule the World” for the first time. In April 2019, 2 Chainz performed the song live on Jimmy Kimmel Live! On The Ellen DeGeneres Show in May 2019, 2 Chainz and Amerie played the song together.
Following “7 Rings,” which was compared to 2 Chainz’s “Spend It,” this is their second collaboration. On social media, 2 Chainz noted the resemblance, and the two finally met through Ariana’s manager, Scooter Braun. They ended up recording the remix to “7 rings” as well as “Rule the World,” which samples Amerie’s 2002 song “Why Don’t We Fall in Love,” after talking for a few hours.
On March 11, 2019, a music video for “Rule the World” was released. The video, directed by Sebastian Sdaigui, depicts 2 Chainz and Grande singing the song with a band in a luxury 1920s club. 2 Chainz first performed “Rule the World” with Grande on March 20, 2019 on her Sweetener World Tour[3] in Boston, MA. In April 2019, 2 Chainz performed the song live on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
