Nardo Wick shares a visual for “Me or Sum”.
Nardo Wick returns with some new material as he teams up with Future and Lil Baby for the official video for their song called “Me or Sum”. The track is produced by DVLP & Z3N, and it follows up Florida rapper’s previous video “Wicked Witch“. The track appeared on his debut album “Who is Nardo Wick?“.
“Eat what’s in my pants, baby, don’t gotta go to dinner / I stole her heart, thou shall not steal, I’m sorry, I’m a sinner / Let her put my chains on, now she think she me or somethin’ / Got a special ringtone, when it beep, I know she comin’,” raps Nardo Wick.
Based on the vintage costume, Nardo transports viewers to the roaring 1920s, when he and fellow clique members Baby and Future collaborate to carry off a huge theft worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The MadeByJames-directed video begins with Future mesmerized by a woman’s attractiveness as Nardo plots the robbery with his gang while gambling and having a few drinks.
“It was originally me and somebody else on the song, but they were dropping, too, in December, so we weren’t going to be able to drop it,” he told Complex about the song. “So I took them off and then I put Future on it and then put Baby on there. Baby knew he wanted to be on the tape, so I just was trying to find the right song for him to get on that fit him the most.”
“I recorded that song some months ago in LA. I had the whole song damn near. Like the [same first part is there], but after the beat drops, it was [originally] just me the whole song. But I cut half my verse for Baby.”
“Who Is Nardo Wick?” was released through Flawless Entertainment and RCA Records, and featured additional guest appearances Hit-Boy, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, G Herbo, Lakeyah and more.
