Meek Mill releases video for “Expensive Pain”.
Meek Mill continues pushing his new album as he releases the music video for his song called “Expensive Pain“. The official visual feature footage of the Philadelphia rapper’s recent weeks, in which he partying, recording, traveling in private jets, and more.
The video follows up his previous visuals, for the tracks called “On My Soul” and “Intro (Hate On Me)“. It is off his new fifth studio album “Expensive Pain“, which featured guest appearances from Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Kehlani, ASAP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo, and more.
The film has a documentary air to it, with the camera following Mill throughout his days and nights, whether he’s playing chess in the studio, looking at new watches, singing on stage, hobnobbing with celebrities (there’s a quick appearance from Jay-Z), or even holding a gigantic sword at the end. There are also darker moments in the video to match the song’s lyrical themes, including footage of Meek’s mother and an old interview clip in which the rapper says plainly, “It’s simple to fire the trigger, but it ain’t easy to take your mom out of the ghetto.” That’s a task for a genuine man.”
