Lil Durk drops music video for “Barbarian”.
Lil Durk continues the rollout of his new album “7220“, as the rapper now releases the music video for his song called “Barbarian”. This follows up his previous visuals “Golden Child” and “Ahhh Ha“. Smurk raps on John Lam, Dmac & PlutoBrazy produced beat about his growth since his poverty-stricken days in the Southside of Chicago.
“I showed a lot of ni**as love, and I’d give ’em my last / Why you tell that bi**h my business? Know she bring up my past / But I ain’t even run my mouth, what you would do for the cash / You walk around like I’m a goofy, like I won’t put you on blast,” he raps.
Durk previously released music videos for “Golden Child” and “AHH HA” before the release of 7220 on Friday (March 11). Future, Summer Walker, Gunna, and country singer Morgan Wallen all make cameos on the 17-track record. According to HitsDailyDouble, Durk will likely land his first solo No. 1 album this week after the effort is expected to sell 120,000 to 130,000 total album-equivalent units in its first week.
This would be the second OTF-related album to debut in the Top 5 of the Billboard list. On March 7, King Von’s posthumous album What It Means To Be King debuted at No. 2 with over 60,000 total album-equivalent units sold. Lil Durk marked the occasion by flashing his most recent paycheck.
