Lil Baby shares the “The World Is Yours to Take” music video.
As the World Cup 2022 Qatar coming to an end and Argentina has been crowned the new champions, Fifa has decided to unveil the official Budweiser Anthem. The track is titled “The World Is Yours To Take” which is performed by the rapper Lil Baby. The track samples Tears For Fears’ 1985 classic “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”.
“Wishin’ for the best, preparin’ for the worst too / Got out here and bust my a*s, I had to work too / Some stuff is out of my hand, I can’t control it / If I don’t know nothin’, dawg, I know one thing,” he raps.
Director X directed the song video. A montage of behind-the-scenes shots is shown to end it. Rapper Paulo Londra from Argentina and musician Papatinho from Brazil both make an appearance. The 2022 FIFA World Cup Soundtrack also has songs by Maluma, Nicki Minaj, Myriam Fares, and Jung Kook.
“It’s about the journey we’ve all been on over the last few years and celebrating what’s next,” Baby said in a press release. “When I started in music in 2017, I went all in on a dream that brought me to where I am now, and that’s what I want fans to feel when they hear the song. I hope it makes you feel like you’re walking out onto the pitch at the World Cup making moves toward your own dreams, whatever that means to you.”
