GRIP drops the “Momma Told Me!” video.
Shady Records’ newest Signee GRIP continues releasing new material as he teams up with HNHH for the official video for his song called “Momma Told Me!” The track appeared on his Shady Records debut album “I Died For This?” which dropped last month.
The album featured 17 tracks with guest appearances from label boss Eminem on “Walkthrough,” along with Royce Da 5’9″, Big Rube, Kay Nellz, Kenny Mason, and more. “It’s definitely great when artists we sign connect with a larger audience, and 50 [Cent] is a perfect example of that,” Eminem said about GRIP. “Obviously we want anyone who signs with Shady to succeed. But first and foremost we’ve always focused on the raw talent and ability of the artist as an MC. We’ve always been pretty clear on that being the main thing we look for: high level fundamental skills and mechanics are definitely the priority.”
