Future shares visual for “Puffin On Zootiez”.
Future continues putting out new material as he now releases the official video for his song called “Puffin On Zootiez”. This follows up his previous visual “Wait For You” with Drake and Tems. The track is taken off his latest album “I Never Liked You“, which debuted at #1 with guest appearances from Kanye West, Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Kodak Black and others.
The video for “Puffin On Zootiez” takes a more literal approach, using distorted, hazy graphics to recreate the sense of being incredibly stoned. Future is mostly visible in hazy, out-of-focus close-ups and action pictures captured with kaleidoscope optics.
“Dirty the Fanta but make it in Canada / Bro get this money like it’s my religion / It’s gon’ be a mad day, a sad day for any of these ni**as / That try to compare whatever I did,” he raps.
Future’s ninth studio album, I Never Liked You, was among his most successful, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard top 200 with 222,000 equivalent units sold — the biggest release of 2022 at the time. While Kendrick Lamar and his new album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” finally outsold Future, those 222,000 sales indicate Future’s enduring appeal after more than a decade in the rap limelight. The album of Future in the second week outsold Jack Harlow’s Come Home The Kids Miss You. However, in addition to being a significant occasion for Future, it also provided significant successes for partners such as Drake and Tems. Drake became the first rapper to have ten No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Wait For You.” Tems’ presence on the track also makes her the first African woman to do so.
