Eminem drops the video for “Phenomenal”. Watch it below.
After giving us Teaser of Phenomenal Video, Eminem has dropped the Full version of the Official Video or Short Film. The track is off Original Soundtrack of Upcoming Boxing Movie Southpaw which is due to release on July 24th. The video is available on Apple Video Streaming Service, so Apple users can watch the Official Video of “Phenomenal” on iTunes here.
Eminem’s stunning new Southpaw single “Phenomenal” has been accompanied by an action-packed music video. The stunt-heavy mini-movie, which clocks in at almost seven minutes, features the Detroit rapper displaying incredible martial arts skills, high-speed motorbike chases, big explosions, and cameos by John Malkovich and Dr. Dre.
Eminem wakes up in the middle of an operation on a hospital bed with no knowledge of why he’s there in the video. A doctor approaches Eminem after removing his IVs, but is quickly despatched, causing Eminem to become aware of his newfound abilities. In a scene worthy of the Netflix series Daredevil, he battles his way out of the hospital and dashes into the city streets, where he is immediately recognised by fans while fending off intruders.
On the Shady Records-produced soundtrack for Southpaw, the song will be featured with the recently released Eminem and Gwen Stefani collaboration “Kings Never Die” and other tracks. The film, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a boxer trying to recover from a catastrophe, will be released on July 24.
