EarthGang drops video for “Strong Friends”.
EarthGang, the hip-hop duo of Olu and WowGr8 continues the rollout for their latest project as they now unleashed the music video for their song called “Strong Friends”. This follows up their recent visual for “American Horror Story”. The track appeared on their new album “Ghetto Gods“, a follow up to Dreamville’s 2019’s debut effort “Mirrorland”.
“We forever scared to be punished for sharin’ / Might even get clowned for openin’ up now / But I’d much rather leave you with no room for doubt / If you don’t leave with nothin’, hope you get the message,” raps WowGr8 aka Doctur Dot.
“My homegirl strugglin’ to keep a perfect image / Spotlight burnin’ and she so photogenic / Her soul got a blemish, no time to heal it / Pose for the picture, nobody listenin’,” raps Olu aka Johnny Venus.
EarthGang’s second studio album, Ghetto Gods, is their second studio album. Dreamville, Interscope, and Spillage Village released it on February 25, 2022. Future, JID, J. Cole, Musiq Soulchild, Baby Tate, CeeLo Green, Nick Cannon, and Ari Lennox all make cameos on the album.
