Drake and 21 Savage shares “Jimmy Cooks” visual.
Drake is back with some new material as he releases the music video for his hit single “Jimmy Cooks”. The song is assisted by 21 Savage, and it is released on the occasion of his 30th birthday. The Tay Keith-produced track is the fan favourite off Drizzy’s latest project “Honestly, Nevermind“.
“F**k a pigeonhole, I’m a night owl, this a different mode / I might have to make her paint a 6 on her pinky toe / Heard you with a shooting guard, just let a ni**a know / I would have you courtside, not the middle row,” raps Drake.
The group’s association can be seen on the Toronto native’s most recent album, Honestly, Nevermind, that was released in June. The lone guest spot on the project is in 21’s segment. The song “Jimmy Cooks,” a parody of Drizzy’s Jimmy Brooks from Degrassi: The Next Generation, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and Honestly, Nevermind debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Along with the new visual, the duo also announced that they will team up for a new joint album titled “Her Loss“, which will release next week on October 28th.
