Machine Gun Kelly drops “Concert for Aliens”.
After giving us ‘Killing In The Name‘ cover in June, Machine Gun Kelly continues releasing new material as he drops a pop-punk track called “Concert For Aliens” which features Travis Barker. This will appear on MGK’s upcoming album ‘Tickets to My Downfall‘.
The video, created by Mod Sun, features MGK as a television host on an alien-infested game show.
In the three hours after its debut, the YouTube video has received over a quarter-million views; in comparison, Megan Fox’s “Bloody Valentine” video, which was published in late May, has received 31 million views.
In 2020, it reached its highest position on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs list at position 17. The live-action video alternates between shots of Baker and Barker singing the song in front of an extraterrestrial audience and shots of Baker dressing up and behaving goofy in a number of costumes, including that of a gameshow presenter, an actor, a sailor, an emo adolescent, and a classic “villain” type figure.
