Young Thug’s new star-studded album featured guest appearances from J. Cole, Drake, Post Malone, Travis Scott, ASAP Rocky, Doja Cat, and more. The album had posthumous contributions from Juice WRLD and Mac Miller.
Punk was revealed by Young Thug at his “Tiny Desk (Home)” appearance in July. In August, he released the new song “Tick Tock,” however it was not included on the album. Young Thug participated on several big-name projects for the remainder of the year after releasing the Slime Language 2 collection alongside Gunna and Young Stoner Life in April. He collaborated with Nicki Minaj on Elton John’s “Always Love You” and provided a guest verse to Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy” with Future. On Kanye West’s “Remote Control,” he also made the final cut of Donda.
