YK Osiris is finally debt-free.
Even though he has a certified Gold album in his short career, Def Jam rapper YK Osiris is mostly known for the money he owed to several other artists in the industry. Previously, the 23-year-old was made to perform at Drake’s Toronto mansion to pay off the $60,000 debt of Drizzy. He also made headlined for owing money to the likes of Lil Baby, Boosie Badazz, and most recently French Montana.
But now it looks like YK Osiris is finally debt-free, as the rapper celebrate it with the viral Money Challenge. “you Ni**as better stop playing with my name,” he wrote on a picture of him showing off cash.
However, the post didn’t stop people from clowning Osiris in the comment section. “ni**a u owe me 300$ fym debt free,” said a fan. “Where is the furniture,” asked another. “That money looking kinda funny no cap,” wrote a fan.
Osiris was so excited that he went on a shopping spree with his kid hours afterwards. “I’m going shopping today about to take my son shopping today,” he said in a clip while driving with his son. “You know we debt-free, man. Taking my son shopping today. We gon’ spend that money.”
YK Osiris has become famous for a variety of reasons. He’s had a TikTok smash with songs like “Valentine” and “Worth It” off his 2019 album The Golden Child, and he’s had an embarrassing basketball brush with Chris Brown. However, one of the most notable things the 23-year-old vocalist has gone viral for is owing rappers large sums of money.
