Cordae drops “The Lost Boy” album feat Ty Dolla Sign, Meek Mill & others.
Cordae is all set to release his new album ‘The Lost Boy‘ on July 26th which is led by Chance The Rapper assisted single ‘Bad Idea‘. Today he decided to unveil the official tracklist for the project. The album will have 15 tracks with guest appearances from Pusha T, Meek Mill, Ty Dolla Sign, Anderson .Paak and more. The project will also have production from J. Cole.
Despite being seen in the studio with Dr. Dre on multiple occasions, the California legend is absent from the production credits. Daytrip, TDE’s Mixed By Ali, Terrace Martin, Cardiakk, Masego, Smoko Ono, Syd, SiR, and others contributed to Cordae’s production. Quincy Jones also contributed to the project, according to him.
“I’ma just let the music speak for itself, ‘cause it’s true to me, it’s authentic to my story,” Cordae about his first solo album. “[…] I just want it to resonate, and it’s just real, you know what I’m sayin’? But I don’t really give a fuck about first-week numbers, because it’s a project, and then it’s a marathon. We seen n***as do, like, 300k the first week, but then no one’s talking about it in a couple of months.”
