XXXTentacion’s ‘SAD!’ breaks Spotify record for biggest single day streams.
XXXTentacion aka Jahseh Onfroy was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen in Deerfield Beach, Florida at the age of 20 which shocked the whole music industry. Spotify, who removed XXXTentacion’s music from their streaming service a month ago after their new ‘hateful conduct’ policy but later close the policy after pressure from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, has decided to put on the XXXTentacion’s playlist with ‘Rest in Peace, XXXTentacion‘ message on their homepage.
The message encouraged the users to listen to the late rapper as XXXTentacion’s one of the most popular songs ‘SAD!’ broke Spotify’s biggest single-day streams. The song has been streamed over 10.4 million times yesterday. The song appeared on XXXTentacion’s latest ‘?’ album.
