Westside Boogie gives a listening session of his new album to Eminem.
While we were waiting for Westside Boogie’s new album, he has been giving us a series of freestyles in the past weeks and it looks like the release of the project is coming close. In a new tweet. Westside Boogie revealed that he is about to play his new album for some guy in Detroit, and we all know who that is, none other than Eminem.
In Boogie’s previous album “Everythings for Sale“, the Shady Records boss also contributed to the track “Rainy Days“. As we yet to get the tracklist for the upcoming Boogie project, it will be interesting if we get another feature from the legendary Detroit MC.
Boogie’s first meeting with Eminem was a terrifying one. Until they started talking about music and lyrics. The Compton rapper eventually recognised him not as a superstar, but as a flawed and real human being, a true hip hop fan: We went to the studio in Detroit. It’s always the same thing: “Marshall’s ready for you now”, “Marshall’s ready to see you”. He’s like a freaking president. And that’s the part that made me nervous. But Eminem is dope. Before I met him, I was like, “Ugh, he’s one of the biggest rappers ever, he is not gonna act like a human”. But then, when I met him, he was like just another person trying to figure life out, and that’s dope to me.”
Bout to go play my album for some guy in Detroit
