State Farm enlists Drake for NFL Commercial.
During the Super Bowl, instead of “Jake from State Farm,” viewers were introduced to “Drake from State Farm.” Drake, the Grammy Award-winning musician, and actor Paul Rudd made cameo appearances in State Farm’s first-ever Super Bowl commercial. The National Football League 2021 took place earlier tonight where Tampa Bay Buccaneers triumph over Kansa City Chiefs with a 31-9 score. This year also features some commercials featuring some of the biggest celebrities. After announcing it earlier this week, State Farm airs their first-ever Super Bowl commercial which features Canadian rap star along with Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes.
The trio tries to locate a quarterback stand-in and watch as actor Paul Rudd tries unsuccessfully to imitate Mahomes and toss a football. “Jake from State Farm” When the trio points to Drizzy, he claims he doesn’t even have a stand-in. “I’m Drake from State Farm,” the rapper explains. The Toronto rapper tries to say the company’s slogan “like a good neighbor State Farm was there,” but was cut off by “Jake” who said, “stand-ins don’t have lines.”
