NF drops a new song “CLOUDS”.
After announcing it yesterday, NF makes his return to the music scene as he releases a new single called “CLOUDS“. Along with the new track, the Michigan rapper has also announced a new project called “CLOUDS (The Mixtape)“.
NF discusses the mixtape, He raps matter-of-factly, “Hanging onto tunes this long is difficult.” He then delivers a series of smart lines in tandem with a sparse violin melody before becoming increasingly furious in response to a loud, industrial beat. Throughout, the technically gifted MC weaves together complicated rhymes about his continuous rise and the severity of his goals: “It’s possible / That I might push the envelope / Ideas so astronomical / Sometimes I find them comical.”
NF and Tommee Profitt wrote and produced the song, which is the second single off his mixtape of the same name. On the Billboard Hot 100, the song peaked at number 53.
The mixtape will have 10 tracks with guest appearances from Hopsin and Tech N9ne. The project will release on 26th March. NF only released a lone track called ‘Chasing (Demo)‘ last year which featured a fan named Mikayla Sippel.
