Machine Gun Kelly Talks Eminem beef, Halsey Rumors & more on The Breakfast.
Machine Gun Kelly has been in the news lately for his feud with Eminem and disses tracks of both rappers. Eminem dissed MGK on his new album ‘Kamikaze‘ on the track ‘Not Alike‘ for which he responded with ‘Rap Devil‘. Eminem released his response track ‘Killshot‘ last week which broke the youtube record of the biggest debut of a hip-hop video in the first 24 hours.
On the show, Machine Gun Kelly revealed that he had sorted out the controversy over his tweet on Hailie and didn’t expect Detroit Rapper to take it this personal. He also said that the beef helped him, “If this is what it takes to show my talent then I’m with it.“.
“It’s a six for me, dog,” Kelly replied, referring to his assessment of Em’s punch back. “‘Killshot’ was a leg shot. With ‘Rap Devil,’ we’re talking about facts while you want to talk about man buns? Answer the f**king facts. I’m an actor homie, how disconnected are you? You called me a mumble rapper. Let’s pour some out for this old dumbass.”
“I had a clip ready,” MGK said of a possible response to “Killshot.” “I put that crap back in the holster when I heard ‘Killshot.'” This wasn’t even on my radar. I’m on the road with a rock band, so I’m in a very different frame of mind than this, but thank you for bringing me back.”
He also revealed that Em did make the call to Interscope to blackball his career. The Cleveland-bred rapper claimed that he had sex with many women G-Eazy was involved with in the past, including Halsey when pressed about the issue by co-host Charlamagne Tha God. “Absolutely,” he said when Charlamagne asked if he’d “smashed” Halsey. “That was when she and I were rocking on some flirty sh*t back when I was ironically rocking the [man bun],” the 28-year-old explained of Eazy’s on-and-off girlfriend.
