Watch Eminem's Recent Home Intruder Tried To Enter His Mansion Last Summer Too

Eminem’s Home Intruder tried tracking him down last summer.

A few days ago, a 26-year-old guy named Matthew David Hughes broke into Eminem’s Detroit-area home at around 4 AM after sneaking past Em’s security through the back and smashing the kitchen window to enter the home. The Home Intruder came face-to-face with Eminem before being caught by the security team and getting into police custody.

Hughes allegedly first went to a house in Rochester Hills, MI about 2 a.m. and threw a rock through the front window, waking up the homeowner. He was gone before deputies arrived, but the homeowner told cops he returned later and tapped on a window, saying he was “searching for his brother, Marshall.

Now footage of last summer released which shows the same intruder tried to enter Eminem’s home before too. He allegedly got past security fencing and a gated entrance and was walking the property around 4:30 AM looking for Eminem. Cops said he then rang the doorbell and asked where the rapper was.

“When Mr. Mathers asked him why he was there, Mr. Hughes told him that he was there to kill him,” officer Adam Hackstock stated during a preliminary hearing in Macomb County District Court on April 5, following an alleged home invasion by Matthew David Hughes at Eminem’s Detroit mansion.
