Watch Eminem's First Ever Recorded Performance from 1996 Resurfaces

Eminem’s first-ever recorded live performance from 1996 resurfaces online.

Eminem used to perform anywhere for anyone, even if it was only an outdoor park before he became a diamond-selling, Grammy Award-winning MC who could pack stadiums. A Youtube page shared a rare video of the first-ever live performance of Eminem ever recorded. The clip which was originally uploaded a few years back, resurfaces again where a 24-year-old Eminem is seen performing ‘Low Down, Dirty‘ with some help from his D12 crew. It’s noted that Eminem’s performance is from 1996, a couple of years before the Detroit rapper signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment record label.

In a recently unearthed video, a 24-year-old Slim Shady performs the song “Low Down Dirty” in front of a crowd of around 12 – and that’s being generous. The majority of people aren’t even watching the event; they’re simply walking past the camera frame on their way to fetch a hot dog or a little charred hamburger from the grill.

Wearing visors, sunglasses and disguises/‘Cause my split personality is having an identity crisis,” he raps. “I’m Dr. Hyde and Mr. Jekyll, disrespectful/Hearing voices in my head while these whispers echo/(Murder-murder, redrum)/Brain size of a bread crumb/Which drug will I end up dead from/Inebriated ‘til my stress is alleviated/How in the f**k can Eminem and Shady be related?
