DJ Khaled hosted this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards and he kicked off the show with a performance of one of his biggest hits. He teams up with T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Plies and Rick Ross for the performance of “I’m So Hood”.
With nine nominations each, Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled, and Cardi B dominated the BET Hip-Hop Awards 2017. MVP of the Year, Single of the Year, Hustler of the Year, and Best Hip-Hop Video were all shared by Kendrick and Cardi B. In the meanwhile, Khaled was vying for the titles of DJ of the Year, Best Hip-Hop Video, and Producer of the Year.
Tee Grizzley, 6lack, Fat Joe, Belly, Cyhi the Prynce, and Mysonne will headline the cypher showcase, which will include a mix of established and up-and-coming artists. The show will also include an all-female freestyle fight called “Hip Hop’s blazing femcees,” as well as Eminem’s much-anticipated verse.
The other performances include ‘Too Hotty’ by Migos, Playboi Carti performs ‘Woke Up Like This’ & ‘Magnolia’, Yo Gotti performs ‘Rake It Up’, Cardi B performs her big hit ‘Bodak Yellow’, Trina, Trick Daddy, Flo Rida & Rick Ross performS Uncle Luke Tribute, DJ Khaled, YFN Lucci, Waka Flocka, Dave East, T-Pain and more performs ‘Instabooth’ freestyle.
