Wale praises Eminem’s “Stan”.
Wale shows some love for Eminem as the rapper called “Stan” one of the greatest songs ever written. He took to his X account, and wrote: “‘Stan’ really one of the greatest songs ever written any genre.”
A fan wrote: “It is tho isn’t it, it sparked a whole thing, a “stan”, to which Wale responded: “Well from a song writers perspective .. I think it’s one of the best songs to exist especially after hearing it again for the first time in years .. it holds up crazy.”

The praise comes following the release of Detroit rapper’s new documentary film titled “STANS.” The film focuses on Detroit rappers’ rise to fame, and also spotlights some of his biggest fans.
It was released with a soundtrack album, which includes Eminem’s previously released classics, along with an unreleased version of “Everybody’s Looking at Me”. “Let me tell you why this sh-t is crazy to me,” Eminem said about the film. “Because, when I was writing the song ‘Stan,’ I think I was just understanding the impact that my music was having on some people. And it’s so crazy to me to look at, over my career, just the fact that I was able to impact people.”
