Eminem nominated in two categories at MTV VMAs 2020.
MTV has announced the nominations for this year’s editions of their Video Music Awards, which will air on August 30, live from Radio City Music Hall. This year, the Detroit rapper Eminem also gets a spot at the MTV event as his “Godzilla” received nominations in two categories, which include “Video of the year” and “Best Hip-Hop“.

The nominations also made Eminem the first artist to be nominated for video of the year eight times in his career, taking the award home two times. Eminem’s videos for “Stan” (2001), “Lose Yourself” (2003), “We Made You” (2009), and “Not Afraid” (2010) were also nominated. A total of 41 VMA nominations (including 3 with D12) have been received since 1999, and 13 winners have been won.
