Ty Dolla Sign shows love for Eminem in new interview.
Ty Dolla Sign continues the promo run for his latest album, “Tycoon,” as he made an appearance on DJ Whoo Kid’s show on Shade 45. During the conversation, Whoo Kid asks Ty about calling Eminem one of his favourite artists.
“Back in the day I tweeted and I’ll never forget it because I actually stand on it and believe it,” he said. “The only rapper better than Eminem is Slim Shady. Name somebody who made better song than ‘Stan.’ Like, writing, making people cry, changing people’s lives.”
“There’s certain people that could do that. He did that in rap. There’s other songs, like ‘Today Is A Good Day’ by Ice Cube. The Beatles did that. There’s certain people who could do that, change lives with a song. I always looked up to him. And I got to make a song with him.”

Eminem and Ty Dolla Sign worked together on “Favorite B–ch,” which appeared on “Music To Be Murdered By” Side B album in 2020.
“Well, I’ve been a fan of Ty Dolla Sign for a while now,” said Eminem previously. “He pops up on my youtube feed a lot, cause I’m always looking at what’s new, what’s out, sh-t like that, so a lot of time his videos pop up. But the one that really caught my ear, like sealed it for me, was the ‘All Mine‘ joint that he did with Kanye. Where he was singing the falsetto sh-t, It was so crazy and I was like yo I gotta have him, but I had to have the right song first before I approached him with it. Yeah man, he’s nuts, his f–king harmonies he does and sh-t. Like it’s he’s out his mind.”
