Sabrina Carpenter topped the Billboard 200 with “Short n’ Sweet.”
After a little delay, the final numbers for this week’s US Billboard 200 chart are here, and Sabrina Carpenter debuted atop with her latest album “Short n’ Sweet.” This is Sabrina’s first number 1 album of her career with her sixth studio effort.
A couple of weeks back, Travis Scott also re-released his second mixtape “Days Before Rodeo” on streaming platforms to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The project was first projected to move less than 200k units in the week, but got pushed with the release of several new digital version to compete with Carpenter’s project.
Travis Scott narrowly missed out on the top spot as his project moved 361,000 equivalent album units in the week, while Sabrina’s album earned 362,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Aug. 29. However, Travis scott’s 10-year-old project became the album with highest first week sales for a rap project this year.
