Travis Scott Becomes First Male Rap Artist With All Platinum Songs On An Album

Travis Scott achieves a huge milestone with “Astroworld”.

Travis Scott continues achieving new accolades as he now earns a huge milestone with his record breaking third studio album “Astroworld.” The rapper has updated his catalogue, and he has now become the first male rap artist with an album with all songs achieving RIAA platinum or higher status.

The rapper earned platinum status for his songs titled HOUSTONFORNICATION, FRANCHISE w/ Young Thug & MIA, CAROUSEL and 7x Platinum for HIGHEST IN THE ROOM. Astroworld album is also surpassed 5x platinum status.

Astroworld was released in 2018 with guest appearances from Drake, The Weeknd, Kid Cudi, Gunna, Don Toliver, Quavo, Takeoff, 21 Savage, Juice WRLD, Swae Lee and more. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 with moving over 537,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.

Travis Scott now joins Cardi B as the only two rappers to all songs certified platinum or higher on an album. Cardi B earned this milestone for her debut album “Invasion of Privacy”.
