Tory Lanez Shouted “Dance, Bi**h” at Megan Thee Stallion before shooting at her feet.
A preliminary hearing for the case of Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion was held on Tuesday in Los Angeles, and the “Alone at Prom” rapper is ordered to appear in court for a trial on January 13. A request to dismiss the case “for insufficiency of the evidence” was rejected by Superior Court Judge Keith H. Borjon.
Tory, who has denied shooting Megan, was present in court and paying close attention to the testimony. Shawn Holley, the Canadian rapper’s defence attorney, questioned Stogner about whether or not he knew Megan was the one who invited Tory to the party at Kylie Jenner’s house before to the alleged shooting. Holley also questioned Stogner about Megan’s alcohol intake on the day of the incident.
The recent hearing also included testimony from LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) detective Ryan Stogner, who interviewed Megan Thee Stallion after the shooting incident, which took place in July 2020. According to Ryan, an “intoxicated” Tory Lanez yelled “Dance, bi**h” before shooting at 3 times Grammy Award winner’s feet.
“(Megan) observed Mr. Peterson (Tory Lanez) holding a firearm and then she observed him start to shoot,” testified Stogner. “Megan immediately felt pain to her feet, observed blood, fell to the ground, and then crawled to an adjacent driveway of a residence…She described her injuries as bleeding profusely.”
First witness in #ToryLanez prelim was LAPD Officer Sandra Cabral. She responded to “shots fired” investigation. Says Megan was in “a panic, frantic.”

“Megan stated the defendant apologized for doing it and offered her money and begged her to please not say anything and made a reference to the fact he was already on probation and he begged her not to say anything,” said Stogner.
Megan Thee Stallion recently celebrated her Graduation From Texas Southern University and was also honoured with the 18th Congressional District of Texas Hero Award.

Also one interesting exchange: As an LAPD detective testified about an apologetic jail phone call Lanez made to one of Megan’s friends, the rapper had enough: “How about you tell me what I was apologizing for bro? That don’t make no sense,” he yelled at the investigator.
