Tom MacDonald brags about Beating Eminem “Music To Be Murdered By” Deluxe Edition.
Tom MacDonald, the independent Canadian Rapper recently released his new single called “Best Rapper Ever” which has been trending on the charts. On iTunes, Tom MacDonald’s “Best Rapper Ever” continues to have a strong debut weekend. The single by Tom MacDonald is top of the iTunes chart, beating the tracks from Eminem off the latest Deluxe Version of his “Music To Be Murdered By” album.
In a late Saturday Twitter post, MacDonald acknowledged the latter feat. The Canadian rapper took to Twitter to share the news with his fans where he boasts about knocking out the biggest rapper in the world from the iTunes top spot.
“WE ARE #1. & beat Eminem’s entire new album. We INDEPENDENTLY knocked out the biggest rapper in the world from the top spot.” wrote Tom.
Although he also praised the Detroit Rapper as he grew up listening to him. Tom MacDonald was the only one who turned Slim Shady’s “Stan’s Revenge” instrumental into “Dear Slim,” a three-minute homage to the original music video for “Stan” from 2000. MacDonald appears in the video wearing some of Em’s favourite outfits, including the notorious hockey mask and overalls that are normally associated with Em’s dark alter-ego. He sits atop a soaked Monte Carlo in one shot, which is a direct sequel to what happens in the rest of the first “Stan” film, when the main character crashed his car off a bridge.
“I grew up listening to Em. He’s the reason I started rapping. To see our names next to each other…I’ll never forget this.” Check it out below.
