Tom Holland Reveals The First Album Ever He Bought Was Eminem's Curtain Call

Eminem’s 2005 project “Curtain Call: The Hits” was the first album Tom Holland Bought.

Marvel’s new highly anticipated film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is released and it debuted at a jaw-dropping $253 million revenue. The film stars Tom Holland and Zendaya in the leading role, along with Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina and more. Tom Holland had been on the promo run for the new film, as he sat down with W Magazine, where the actor discusses feeling more comfortable speaking in an American accent, crushing on Emma Watson, and his obsession with playing golf.

The 25-year-old was also asked about the first-ever musical album he ever bought, and it was Eminem’s greatest hits project “Curtain Call: The Hits“. “The first album I bought? It might be Eminem’s ‘Curtain Call: The Hits,’” he said.

The album was Eminem’s first-ever greatest hits album, and it debuted at number 1 on Billboard 200 with 441,000 first week sales. The project is Billboard 200’s longest-running Hip-Hop album with over 550 consecutive weeks on the chart, which is over 10 years.

The album’s two singles, “When I’m Gone” and “Shake That,” charted at 8 and 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100, respectively. Only “When I’m Gone” made it to the UK charts, where it peaked at #4. In August 2017, the album was named the Billboard 200’s longest-running rap album.

The release of Curtain Call 2, Eminem’s second greatest hits collection, has been confirmed for this summer. It will contain songs from Relapse onward in addition to those from side projects, cameos, and film soundtracks, among other things. The Detroit rapper’s first greatest-hits collection, Curtain Call: The Hits, was published in 2005.

Additionally, Eminem is releasing a confined amount of signed vinyl LPs and a limited edition box set. Both will be available on Eminem.com. Since Relapse, Eminem has released five full-length solo studio albums, including Recovery (2010), The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013), Revival (2017), Kamikaze (2018), and Music to Be Murdered By (2020).
