The Weeknd, Taylor Swift Wins Big At 2020 American Music Awards

All the winners at 2020 AMAs.

This year’s American Music Awards took place last night from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater with Covid-19 guidelines. The show which has a limited audience featured performances from the likes of Lil Baby, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes, BTS, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, and more.

Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Taraji P. Henson, and Dan + Shay wins big at the event as they took home three trophies each. Even though The Weeknd didn’t win artist of the year, he started off his all-star week with a bang: The pop artist dominated the 2020 American Music Awards with numerous victories, just days before he is likely to get multiple Grammy nominations.

The late Juice WRLD won the award for Favorite Male Hip-Hop artist, and favorite Female one was collected by Nicki Minaj. Roddy Ricch’s “Please Forgive Me For Being Anti Social” won the AMA for best Hip-Hop album. Check out the full list of winners and some of the performances below.
