J. Cole acknowledges fans for making “The Off-Season” debut at #1.

The new J. Cole album “The Off-Season” continues to trend as it moved over 288k units in the first week to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. This milestone also makes him the first-ever rapper to have his first 6 studio albums to go at number 1 on the Billboard 200. The Dreamville boss who’s currently in Africa, after joining the basketball team Rwanda Patriots, sends his acknowledgment for all the love.

J. Cole’s new album also broke Spotify one day record of 2021 as “The Off-Season” was streamed 62M times in a day. He recently dropped the music video for the song called “Amari“.

With “My Life” (at 2), “Amari” (at 5), “Pride Is the Devil” (at 7) and “95 South,” four singles from The Off-Season made their US Billboard Hot 100 debuts in the top ten (at 8). Only four other artists—Drake, Juice WRLD, Lil Wayne, and Lil Uzi Vert—have four songs that debut in the top ten.

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards recognized the record with a nomination for Best Rap Album. Additionally, “Pride Is The Devil” and “My Life” were also nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Performance, respectively.
