The Game again shades Eminem over his latest RIAA milestone.
The Game has been in the trends recently for his appearance on DJ EFN & NORE’s “Drink Champs” podcast. Among many other statements, the Compton rapper suggested that he can go toe to toe with the Detroit Legend Eminem. “Eminem is Eminem, I like Eminem,” he said. “He’s one of the f**kin good Emcees, great Emcees. I used to think Eminem was better than me. He not, he’s not. Challenge it. Yes, I do [Want to do Verzuz against Eminem]. What you mean, yeah I do. The f**k you mean.”

Just after the interview, Eminem’s RIAA Certifications has been updated, and he received 73.5 million new Gold & Platinum accolades. He becomes the number 1 singles artist in Gold and Platinum History, and the new certifications make it 166 million total career single awards for Eminem.
Eminem’s six RIAA Diamond awards – three albums and three singles – catapult him into the stratosphere of music and solidify his status as one of the most successful musicians of all time. Eminem’s RIAA Award career total is now 227.5 million, with 166 million single certifications and 61.5 million album certifications, thanks to today’s 73.5 million additional award units.
The programme established the Gold Record (500,000 copies) as a trademark and standardised the industry practise of honouring musicians for their successes in music sales. The Platinum Award (1,000,000), Multi-Platinum Award (2,000,000+), and Diamond Award followed (10,000,000 plus).

While the fans celebrating the new Eminem’s milestone, The Game is back with some more words for the “Lose Yourself” rapper in a series of tweets. “All this talk I see on the net saying Eminem is better than me because he sold more records is like saying McDonald’s is better than Tam’s burgers, it’s FALSE !!! They just put more money in McDonald’s & promoted the sh*t out the happy meal dangling toys in kids faces,” he said in a tweet.
“Translation for those of you who don’t know how major record companies do business: it’s a machine designed to work for the artists who PLAY NICE in massa’s house. I was TOO REAL, TOO UNAPOLOGETICALLY BLACK & cut the puppet strings early on in my career n decided to rebel,” he claimed in another post. “Major labels are known for BUYING ALBUMS & paying off everyone to boost sales of the artists THEY CHOOSE to shine the light on. If you ain’t dancin’ to massa’s tune, you lose your budget & the machine is taken off your project and put to work on another artist who’s willing to SD.”
“F**k how many records he [Eminem] sold, you sold or I sold. that’s just #’s on paper n some little awards that ain’t no bigger than my YMCA trophy’s,” he wrote.
