The Game called his project “The album of the year” but his numbers aren’t promising.
The Game finally released his most recent studio album, DRILLMATIC – Heart vs. Mind, after several delays.
The lengthy 31-track project, which clocks in at almost two hours, has several high-name guest appearances, including Kanye West on the previously released singles “Eazy” and “Fortunate” alongside Dreezy and CHILLER, Lil Wayne and G Herbo on “Chrome Slugs & Harmony,” Pusha T and 2 Chainz on “No Man Falls,” YoungBoy Never Broke Again on “O.P.P.” Big Sean’s “Stupid,” A$AP Rocky’s “Money Cash Clothes,” and others Rick Ross on “Save the Best for Last,” Nipsey Hussle on “World Tours,” along with the most talked diss track The Black Slim Shady.
Drillmatic – Heart Vs. Mind, Game’s ninth studio album, is anticipated to debut outside the Billboard 200’s Top 20 in its first week of release. The music journal provided a set of estimates for the top 20, and Jayceon’s record was not included. This implies “Drillmatic” is anticipated to sell fewer than 19k units in its first week, his lowest first-week sales total since his solo debut album.
In other now-deleted Instagram postings, the rapper guaranteed fans the DRILLMATIC will show them “why I’m the best rapper alive.” “My controversy has always stepped on my greatness,” he said, “but that’s all about to change.” “I can honestly say nothing rap related will be able to stand next to this in 2022,” he declared in a lengthy Instagram caption. “When it drops, I promise you that if you put your ear to it you will then understand why I’m the best rapper alive.”

Eminem also released Curtain Call 2, his second greatest hits album earlier this month. It included almost no brand-new songs, yet it still managed to sell 45,000 album copies in its first week.

Let’s see whether The Game album is fueled with the Diss track and Eminem’s name helps the lp take off.
According to official Billboard data, Drillmatic misses the top ten this week (Aug. 27). The album should have debuted at No. 10, as previously anticipated, but instead debuted at No. 12.
The Game’s ninth studio album has received its final sales figures, and they outperform expectations just a little bit. The album was expected to debut with 19k first-week sales outside the top 20 by HDD earlier this week.
When the final figures came in, it had really completed 25K.
In the appearance on the Rap Radar Podcast, The Game revealed why he dissed Eminem. “Just because nobody does. But as far as it being personal, it’s not personal,” he said. “I came up on Em too. I remember the first time that ‘My Name Is’ came out. I was, like, wowed by it. I felt the same feeling when I heard that, that I felt when I heard ‘Juicy’ from Biggie [Notorious B.I.G.] the first time. I always f**ked with Em, and then, you know, the whole Aftermath and the Shady thing and he was on The Documentary.”
