The Game reveals his new album “Drillmatic – Mind vs. Heart” will have 30 tracks.
After teasing it throughout this year, The Game officially announced his next studio album “Drillmatic – Mind vs. Heart” earlier this week. The project will be his tenth studio album, a follow up to 2019’s “Born 2 Rap”.
The rapper has started sharing more details about the highly anticipated new album, as he revealed that it will be having 30 tracks. He shared some of his old pictures with his son, along with a blank tracklist, which counted to number 30.
Jayceon Taylor’s previous album also had more than two dozen songs, with guest appearances from Ed Sheeran, Miguel, Nipsey Hussle, 21 Savage, Bryson Tiller, Trey Songz, Chris Brown and more.
The new album will be dropping on June 17th, with executive production from Hit-Boy. The duo had been spending a lot of time in the studio together since the start of the year when The Game linked up with Kanye West for “Eazy“.

The Compton emcee recently claimed that his new album will be the best of 2022, and prove why he’s the best rapper alive. “I can honestly say nothing rap related will be able to stand next to this in 2022,” he wrote. “When it drops, I promise you that if you put your ear to it you will then understand why I’m the best rapper alive. My controversy has always stepped on my greatness, but that’s all about to change. This album has a strong hold on being the best album of my career. It’s just different… the last time I pulled over & wrote in my car was “I don’t need your love” on The Documentary. Only thing is, back then it was a U-Haul. Today I pulled over the G-Wagon on Labrea because I couldn’t believe how dope the shit in my head was…. I’m parked & I’m not moving until this last song is written & completed. Follow your dreams…. If I could, you can.”

During the talk, he bemoaned the lack of content in commercialized rap but expressed optimism for Hip Hop’s future, particularly now that he had returned. “It f**king sucks there’s no real substance in music anymore, but we have to go through it until it’s fruitful again,” he said at the time. “Logic is working with Madlib. And of course, Kendrick and Cole, and then I’m coming back again. Sh**’s coming.
“Kendrick and J. Cole can only sit quiet for so long, so you’ll get some good sh*t. And again, I like the f**king Polo Gs, the Pooh Shiestys, and of course Lil Baby, I love it. I’m in my car, I throw on Lil Baby, but everybody’s not Lil Baby. So again, we got to pick and choose what has substance.”
