Eminem’s “The Eminem Show” hits 3 Billion Spotify Streams.
Eminem continues to gain huge streaming numbers on the music platform Spotify as his 2002’s album “The Eminem Show” has surpassed 3 Billion Streams. It became the Detroit Rapper’s first album to achieve this accolade. Eminem creates another new record as “The Eminem Show” also became the first and only project from the 2000s to reach 3 Billion Streams on Spotify.
The Eminem Show is American rapper Eminem’s fourth studio album. Due to piracy and bootlegging, the album was re-released on May 26, 2002, by Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records, and Interscope Records after being slated for June 4, 2002. The album saw Eminem assume a far more prominent production role; the majority of it was self-produced, with longtime collaborator Jeff Bass and Dr. Dre serving as executive producers. Obie Trice, D12, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, Dina Rae, and Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade Scott-Mathers also make cameos.
Last month, the song ‘Till I Collapse‘ with Nate Dogg also became Eminem’s second track to reach surpass 1 Billion Spotify Streams.
“The Eminem Show” has now surpassed 3 BILLION streams on Spotify.
