The Alchemist names JAY-Z as his dream collaborator.
The Alchemist has worked with many hip-hop greats in his career, but there’s still one rap legend that he would love to collaborate with. In a new interview with NFR Podcast, the iconic producer named JAY-Z as the name in his to do list.
“Jay always been on my list. I been saying it for a hundred years. It’s JAY-Z. I would love to. We linked but I keep the faith,” he said.
“At this point, I hope it would be a mutual thing, like I would want to work with somebody that would wanna work with me. There’s a couple that’s brewing that’s like bucket list sh-t for me that I hope happens. I still have hopes like that.”
While he has never produced a solo or as a major artist music by JAY-Z, he did assisted on Jay Electronica’s 2020 song “The Neverending Story” which featured Hov and The-Dream.
Just recently, Alchemist produced Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Meet The Grahams“.
