Patrick Xavier Clark is released from prison on a $1 million bond.
Patrick Clark, the suspected killer of the Migos rapper Takeoff has been released from prison after giving a $1 million bond. The suspect and his legal team have been trying to negotiate the bond with Judge Josh Hill since the arrest, and they finally are able to get him out.
According to reports, the Judge was initially seeking a $2 million bond, but the suspect is released on half the amount after negotiation. Now as part of the agreement, Patrick Clark will have to wear an ankle monitor all the time and stay at his parent’s house in Houston. He was also told to avoid contact with Takeoff’s family. The next hearing date in the case is scheduled for March 9th.
Upon taking Clark into custody, authorities discovered that he was in possession of a passport, a significant amount of cash, and an itinerary for travel to Mexico. This led investigators to suspect that Clark may have been planning to flee the country. However, Clark’s lawyer has stated that his client was not attempting to flee and was merely in possession of these items for personal reasons. It is worth noting that the lawyer has not yet publicly commented on this matter.
Takeoff was shot and killed outside 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston on November 1st, 2022, where he was with his uncle and bandmate Quavo. After his death, a memorial service was held at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, which was attended by family and friends, including Drake, Quavo, Offset and Cardi B.
