SZA’s “SOS” debuts atop US Billboard 200.
The first week numbers for SZA’s new album “SOS” are here, and the TDE star earns her first #1 album on US Billboard 200. According to HDD, the album moved 315,000 album-equivalent units in the first week.

This is highest ever debut for SZA in US Charts, as her debut album “Ctrl” peaked at #3 with 60,000 equivalent units upon its release in 2017.
Midnights, Taylor Swift’s most recent full-length album, maintains its No. 2 position thanks to 137,000 album equivalent sales. Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains, by Drake and 21 Savage, at No. 3, and Michael Buble’s Christmas, at No. 4, round out the remaining Top 5 (No. 5).
SZA’s first project in 5 years comes with 23 tracks, including guest appearances from Don Toliver, Travis Scott, Phoebe Bridgers and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. SZA also announced her first arena concert North American tour in support of the project, which will kick in February 2023.
