Suge Knight Says The Only Tupac Album Flopped Was The One Eminem Released

Suge Knight seemingly takes a dig at Eminem.

Suge Knight continued his podcast Collect Call With Suge Knight with the latest episode featuring guest Kat Williams. During the conversation, the former Death Row Records boss talked about Tupac, and how everyone tried to posthumously collaborate with the late rapper after his death, and the only 2Pac project that flopped was the one Eminem released.

“A lot of people been wanting to do songs with ‘Pac and some people even did some sh-t with ‘Pac,” he said. “There was only one 2Pac project that ever flopped before, and that’s the one Eminem did on all the releases. All the rest of them were successful.”

The album that Suge referring to was 2Pac’s ninth studio album and fifth posthumous studio album “Loyal To The Game.” The album was produced by Eminem & Luis Resto, and featured remixes of previously unreleased music recorded by Tupac before his death in 1996. The project debuted at number 1 on the US Billboard 200 after selling 330,000 copies in its first week. It featured guest appearances from Eminem, G-Unit, Nate Dogg, Jadakiss, Obie Trice and more.
