XXXTENTACION has the most streamed rap album in Spotify history.
It’s been over five years since Florida rapper XXXTENTACION was murdered at the age of 20, but the “Look At Me” hitmaker’s legacy continues to grow as he’s currently the holder of the most streamed rap album in Spotify history.
The popular music streaming platform has unveiled the 50 Most-Streamed hip-hop albums in history, which is topped by XXXTENTACION’s “?”, his last album before his death.
The Second on the list is Drake’s “Scorpion”, followed by his own “Views” at number three. The fourth number is held by another late artist Juice WRLD with his album “Goodbye & Good Riddance”. Travis Scott’s hit “ASTROWORLD” is ranked number 5 most streamed album on Spotify.
XXXTENTACION’s debut album “17” is also among the top 10 at the number 6th. The 7th album is late Pop Smoke’s “Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon”, followed by Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN.” at number 8, and Drake’s “More Life” at number ninth. Juice WRLD earned the number 10th spot with his project “Legends Never Die”.
Eminem just missed out on the top 10 with his 2002 album “The Eminem Show”, which is ranked at number 11. The project is one of the RIAA Diamond-certified albums in history. It is one of the best-selling albums of all time and the second best-selling album of the 21st century. Other than The Eminem show, the Detroit rapper has five more albums among top 50. The other projects include Recovery, The Marshall Mathers LP, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Music To Be Murdered By, and Kamikaze.
The other artists in the top 50 are the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, J. Cole, Cardi B, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Migos, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Tyler, the Creator and more.
