Soulja Boy calls out Lil Durk, Migos, Chief Keef and others.
Soulja Boy is known for not being afraid of speaking his mind, and the Big Draco now hopped on to Instagram live to get something off his chest. The Chicago rapper called out the likes of Lil Durk, Migos, Chief Keef and others, and revealed that he helped them when they were not famous, and now most of them forgot him after getting their record deals and becoming successful.
“I always work with a artist before they pop off,” Soulja said. “Look at me and Migos. Look at me and Rich The Kid. Look at me and Mozzy. Look at me and Lil B. Look at me and Riff Raff. Look at me and Famous Dex. How many rapper ni**as I done worked with before they got popping, before they got their record deal?”
He continues, “Look at me and Lil Durk. I was on Lil Durk first mixtape. Look at me and Chief Keef. Look at me and Lil Durk. I do songs with all these ni**as before they get famous. Then once them ni**as get famous, I can’t even get a song from these ni**as. That’s crazy. But when ya’ll ni**as was in the hood, and ain’t nobody know who the f**k y’all was, I was doing songs with y’all ni**as. Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Migos, Famous Dex, Rich The Kid.”
“Ni**as ain’t real. No cap. But y’all know what the f**k going on, though. All a ni**a got to do is look up Soulja Boy, Lil Durk, “Eater.” This man first mixtape. I’m talking about, nobody knew who Lil Durk was. Now a ni**a get a record deal. Where the f**k my feature back at, ni**a? When you ni**as was in the hood, you ni**as was unsigned, I was doing songs with you ni**as for free.”
Soulja Boy’s information is a tad skewed. Durk’s third mixtape, Life Ain’t No Joke, was preceded by the two releases I’m a Hitta and I’m Still a Hitta, both of which had previously won the Chicago rapper a significant amount of attention.
