Snoop Dogg shows the desire to buy Twitter.
Elon Musk recently became the new boss of Twitter, but now the multi-billionaire revealed that the $44 billion deal is currently on hold. Snoop Dogg decided to chime in and showed the desire to take over the social media platform.
“May have 2 buy Twitter now,” he wrote jokingly on his Twitter account. “Gonna replace the board of directors with Jimmy from my corner Fish Fry, Tommy Chung and tha guy with the ponytail on CNBC,” he added.

The Death Row boss then revealed some interesting plans for the business. “First line of business. Free internet on airplanes!!! 29 dollars for 1 hour is bullsh*t,” he wrote. “Everyone gets a blue checkmark. Even tha bots with 10 letters in their name that hit you in DMs n just say “Hello”. Nah f**k those bots.”
Furthermore, the American rapper followed up his tweets with the hashtag #WhenSnoopBuysTwitter in the hopes that others will offer ideas for Snoop’s Twitter takeover.
Internet people reacted quickly to Snoop Dogg’s Twitter thread. “I am completely in support of Snoop Dogg purchasing Twitter,” one person remarked. “Video duration extended to 420 seconds,” another joked.
The tweets from the Long Beach legend comes after Elon Musk stated that his deal is currently on hold due to pending details on spam and fake account on the platform. “Twitter deal temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users,” he wrote.
Still committed to acquisition

It’s worth noting that, if the Twitter transaction goes through, Elon Musk has stated that combating spam accounts and bots will be a primary focus. Mr. Musk has also stated his intention to buy out Twitter’s stockholders and take the firm private. Elon Musk also plans to overhaul the company’s content filtering methods, which have led to the exclusion of controversial characters such as former US President Donald Trump.
