Royce da 5’9″ reacts to Eminem’s new song “Tobey”.
Eminem continued his album rollout with a brand new single “Tobey” earlier this week, which featured fellow Detroit rappers Big Sean and BabyTron. In his verse, Shady took shots at emcees placed above him in top rappers list, most probably last year’s Billboard & VIBE’s Top 50 greatest rappers of all time.
The fans also speculated that Eminem may be shading his “Renegade” collaborator JAY-Z. “Ain’t feelin’ your top five favorite rappers / So I know they ’bout to be pissed at me / But this, to me, is a mystery / How rappers I’ve already ripped could be / Higher up on a list than me,” he rapped.
Now on Instagram, a fan asked Royce da 5’9″ if Eminem was taking shots at Hov in his verse. “You not gonna answer this but…. They saying Em was throwing a shot at Jay in that Tobey joint. Is that true??” he asked. “Of course not,” he responds.

This is the second single by Eminem, and it followed up on the hit track “Houdini” which dropped last month. “Houdini” debuted at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song will appear on his comeback album “The Death of Slim Shady“, which is slated to drop on 12th July.
