In 2002, Royce and D12, which included mutual friend and group member Proof, had a falling out, sparking a public spat that ended in Royce recording three diss singles. The first, “Sh*t on You,” was produced over the instrumental of D12’s tune of the same name and targeted Bizarre in particular.

That wasn’t true.’ And I was able to do the same with him. The only problem is we both pulled out wea***s and the police got involved. And we both got arrested. And we were able to talk while we were in jail and reconcile. And we went on tour after that. And we were back to being the best of friends after that.”
