Rihanna gives an update on her long-awaited next album.
Rihanna finally gives an update on her long-awaited next studio album, as she revealed that she’s prepared for her new era. During the new Fenty Hair event in LA, the Riri was asked about her next project, which will follow up on her 2016 album “Anti.”
“Music for me is a new discovery,” she said. “I am re-discovering things. I have been working on the album for so long that I kind of put all of that stuff aside. And now, I’m prepared to go back in the studio. NOW I’m prepared. So I’m gonna start.”
She continued, “I’m starting over, but I don’t wanna neglect the songs that I have, so I wanna actually go back and listen to stuff with new ears, with my new perspective, and see what applies and see what I’m still in love with.”
Earlier this month, Rihanna celebrated receiving multiple new RIAA certifications. The Barbados hitmaker extends her lead as the female artist with the most RIAA Diamond singles as she now received her 7th plaque.
